1. Information We Collect

When you sign up for Vyrlo, we collect:

• Account information: name, email address, phone number, city, and content niches via Google OAuth sign-in.
• Instagram data: When you connect your Instagram account, we access your public profile (username, biography, follower count, profile picture), your posts and reels (captions, likes, comments), and your content performance metrics (views, reach, shares, saves, interactions). We do not read your DMs, post on your behalf, manage ads, or access anything beyond what's needed to display your dashboard and calculate campaign earnings. All data is accessed through the official Instagram API and only after you explicitly authorize it.
• Campaign data: content performance metrics for campaigns you participate in, including reel views, reach, likes, shares, saved, comments, and total interactions — used to calculate your earnings.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use your information to:

• Display your creator profile and Instagram metrics on your dashboard
• Match you with relevant brand campaigns based on your niche and audience
• Track content performance (views, reach, engagement) for campaign payouts
• Calculate and process your earnings based on content performance
• Generate your Creator Card using your profile data
• Improve our platform and user experience
• Communicate important service updates

3. Instagram Data & Meta Platform

Vyrlo uses the Instagram API provided by Meta Platforms, Inc. When you connect your Instagram account:

• We access only what's needed to display your dashboard and calculate campaign earnings: your public profile, your posts, and post performance metrics
• We do not read DMs, post or comment on your behalf, manage ads, or access anything else on your account
• We store an access token securely to fetch your data on your behalf
• You can disconnect your Instagram account at any time from your dashboard or from Instagram Settings → Apps and Websites
• When you disconnect, we immediately revoke access and delete your Instagram access token and all associated cached data
• We never post, modify, or delete any content on your Instagram account

4. Data Sharing

We do not sell your personal data. We may share limited information with brands (such as aggregated content performance metrics) only as part of campaign participation. We use third-party services including Vercel (hosting), Google Firebase (authentication), and Meta/Instagram API (content data) to operate our platform.

5. Cookies

We use essential cookies to keep the site functional (session authentication) and analytics cookies (Vercel Analytics) to understand how visitors use our site. You can manage cookie preferences through your browser settings.

6. Data Security

We take reasonable measures to protect your data, including encryption in transit (HTTPS), secure database storage, and encrypted access tokens. However, no method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure.

7. Data Retention & Deletion

We retain your data for as long as your account is active. You may request deletion of your data at any time:

• Instagram data: Disconnect your Instagram from your dashboard or revoke access via Instagram Settings. We will delete all stored Instagram data including your access token, profile information, and content metrics.
• Account data: Email us to request full account deletion. We will remove all your personal information from our systems.
• Automated deletion: If Instagram notifies us that you have revoked access or requested data deletion, we automatically remove all your Instagram-related data.

8. Your Rights

You have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal data at any time. You can disconnect third-party services (Instagram) from your dashboard. For any data requests, contact us at the email below.
